TDF Metal Strip Brushes
Strip brushes, commonly referred to as metal channel-backed brushes, are both versatile and durable. These brushes offer extensive customization to fit an enormous range of applications—such as, but not limited to: sealing, conveyor cleaning, surface cleaning, surface roughening, dusting, product separation and transfer, tensioning devices, static dissipation, external and internal pipe cleaning, filter or screen cleaning, glass washing, as well as fruit and vegetable washing. A brush strip loaded with steel/brass wire serves as a brush seal for equipment. A strip brush seal acts as a flexible barrier against mist, dust, light, heat, or unwanted intrusion into operational points. When installed on equipment to make contact with conveyed products, strip brushes can function as a product hold-down, a static reduction device, a hole detector for insulating coatings, an applicator for wet or dry coatings, or a duster for removing loose materials.
